Marvel
District 1
Marvel was born into District 1, one of the wealthier districts of Panem, and trained most of his life for the Hunger Games, specializing in spears. During the 74th Hunger Games, he was a part of the Career pack along with his district partner, Glimmer. He was tied with Glimmer for weakest career. However, in the Games Marvel got away from the tracker jackers and Glimmer didn't, and his odds were the same as Clove's, making him the third-strongest of the Career pack, after Clove and Cato respectively.

Glimmer
District 1
During the Tribute Parade, Glimmer, along with her district partner Marvel, were spray painted silver and wore tunics. However, in the film, they were dressed in fuchsia outfits covered in shiny sequins and feathers, representing their district's main export, luxury goods.
Training
Glimmer-training-center1
Glimmer at the Training Center.Glimmer's tribute token was the only one known in the history of the Hunger Games to be confiscated. The gemstone of the ring she brought, when twisted, revealed a poisoned spike. She didn't get arrested because nobody could prove she had knowledge of the ring being a weapon, but her token was confiscated nonetheless.
Glimmer was not to be underestimated. Being one of the Career Tributes, she had a good chance of survival and was ready to fight. In the film portrayal, during her private session with the Gamemakers, Glimmer most likely showed the Gamemakers her archery skills (in the book, however, Katniss said that "it is immediately evident that she is incompetent with a bow"), and received a score of 9.

Cato
District 2
A monstrous boy who lunges forward to volunteer from District 2.
Katniss's first impression of Cato
Cato lived in District 2 prior to the 74th Hunger Games and presumably trained for the Games alongside his fellow district members. Like Katniss, he volunteered for the Games, most likely because he had confidence in his abilities to win.Though Cato is not mentioned in the book during the bloodbath, he is heavily featured in the movie. Like most of the other tributes, Cato runs toward the Cornucopia and fights for supplies. He first targets the District 6 male, as he had promised to do in the Training Center, and beats him up. The District 10 male tries to pass him, but Cato digs his machete into the other boy's chest, killing him. The District 4 female sees this and runs to Cato, but Cato dodges her attack, knocking the sword out of her hand and throwing her over a crate. Cato then sees the District 5 male run at him and aims at the boy's chest, ripping it apart. He hears Glimmer scream, so he takes a knife and stabs the District 6 male with it. Not long after this, as the District 4 male tries to escape the Cornucopia, Cato slashes his throat, killing him. Cato then finds the District 4 female in the forest and kills her.

Clove
District 2
Clove was the female representative from District 2 in the 74th Hunger Games, and an expert at knife throwing. Although she was smaller than most of the other tributes, she was highly feared because of her knife-throwing techniques, an area she is dominant in, and was known to never miss a target. She pursues the Games with a sadistic personality, never upset at the prospect of another death on her hands. Clove, along with her district partner Cato, are suited up in gold Roman themed armor for the parade.
Clove makes her first kill in the Games during the bloodbath, when she throws a knife at the boy from 9 and strikes him in the back. Next, she targets Katniss's head, but is thwarted when Katniss shields herself with her backpack. After Katniss flees into the woods, Clove returns to the massacre at the Cornucopia. In the film, she rams the girl from 7 to the ground to allowing Marvel to kill her. During the rest of the bloodbath, Clove also kills the boy from 7 and the girl from 10. Although the Careers usually team up, at the beginning of the 74th Hunger Games, they are also joined by Peeta Mellark, the male tribute from District 12, as well as the male tribute from District 3 later in the Games.

Foxface
District 5
During the training session, she tested her knowledge of plants in a matching test, and she was seen completing it fast. Foxface received a score of 5 during her private training session with the Gamemakers. During her interview with Caesar, Foxface was nervous and quiet, only having one line in the movie. For her interview she wore a light blue strapless dress with a ruffled skirt. She answered her questions fast and short. Katniss described her as being "sly and elusive."
Foxface placed 4th in the Games, a very rare thing for District 5. In the movie, Foxface died before Thresh did, Foxfacedead
Foxface after eating the nightlock berries.making Foxface come in 5th. Katniss and Peeta find her body holding nightlock berries. She died after stealing and eating the berries that Peeta had collected. Katniss believed that if Peeta had known about the poison and was attempting to trick Foxface, she would have known not to eat them and could have won. However it is thought that she knew about the nightlock berries being poisonous and committed suicide, due to the scene in the training centre where she matches up and tests her knowledge of vaious plants and berries. When her body was then taken away by a hovercraft, Katniss mentioned that her body was emaciated, so she would've died sooner or later from her lack of food supplies.

Rue
District 11
Rue and Thresh are described in the book as having dark skin and brown hair. Rue worked with great effort in the orchards in District 11. She would always work from sunrise to sunset, alongside the other citizens of her district. Rue was the oldest child in her family. She has 5 younger siblings.
Despite her size, she was able to jump from tree to tree in the orchards, even on the most slender branches. Her considerable agility and skill at traveling through the tree tops are probably the reason she earned a good score after her private session.
She was able to climb the tallest trees in District 11, allowing her to see the flag signaling quitting time first and sing her four note song when work was over. This tune was picked up by the mockingjays in the area, which spread the message through the orchards, letting the others know that the working day was over. Rue claimed that these mockingjays were her special friends.

Thresh
District 11
Thresh was reaped into the 74th Hunger Games, along with the female tribute from his district, Rue. Viewed as the physically strongest tribute in the entire Games, the Career Tributes attempted to recruit him for their alliance during the training sessions, but he refused to join them. In training, he scores a 10, but in the film, he scores a 9. During Thresh's interview, Caesar Flickerman tries to help him to be more comfortable and talk. However, Thresh only answers in curt single word answers and remains surly. This, coupled with his physical appearance, causes him to become a favorite amongst the Capitol for the games. Katniss is extremely impressed with this, and envies Thresh as he shows such silent, deadly physical power and has no need to make the Capitol like him with an angle, though this may have been his angle all along.
